Bell Ringer: Humor Friday
Get out your notes. We will pick up where we left off in the cultural section over the geography topic.

Lesson: We will finish writing the capital and countries of the Spanish speaking world along with useful geographical vocabulary and extra ways to say certain areas. We will also label a practice map.

Spanish II:
We will also start with humor Friday.
Afterwards, we will continue with the Alfabeto (canciones).

HW: You will have a worksheet over La Geografía Tuesday, September 3.

Reminders: Quiz over all this information on September 4. It will be an oral, aural, and written quiz. This will be your first summative grade.

Bell ringer: Turn in the Parent/Guardian Acknowledgment form if you received it on Tuesday due to a late arrival to the class.

Lesson; We will review some of yesterday's cultural information on the Importance of Speaking Spanish. Afterwards, we will take notes in your cultural section over the areas, countries in those areas, and capitals of those countries who speak Spanish. We will break down some of the meanings of those particulars.

Spanish II:
Today, we will review the alphabet. You will have time to work with your partners on the alpha song which will be performed tomorrow for a grade after Humor Friday.

Reminders: There will be a quiz over the past two day's information on Wednesday, September 4. Please study every night in preparation.

Lesson: Today, we will go over why students should learn Spanish. These notes will be taken in te cultural section of your spirals if they have already been purchased. If not, then the notes will be taken on loose paper.

If you were out today, you will have to get the notes from someone in class.

Reminders: Parent form due today! If you came on Tuesday, it is due tomorrow. If you came today, it is due Friday.

Wear green and white or an Ellison shirt/uniform on Friday and earn a "peso".

Lesson: Today, we will fill out the information sheets for the class. I also read my information sheet to the students if time permits. Otherwise, my reading can be done tomorrow.

HW: Parent/Guardian Acknowledgment form due tomorrow for those who arrived Monday!

Reminders: Make sure you try to have some supplies tomorrow. We will start taking cultural notes.

Classroom Management Plan
Materials and Grade Distribution Sheet
Parent/Guardian Acknowledgement Sheet

HW: The Parent/Guardian Ack forms are due on Wednesday for extra credit which will be used at the end of the 1st nine weeks (for those who received them today).
